Your game. Your data.
The mobile game works offline. Your game progress stays on your device.
Applies to the SlapGPT Android and iOS apps by Icey AB. Effective 10 September 2026.
What the app saves
The five latest battle logs, settings, the robot counter, achievement progress, unlocked badges, damage totals and the most recent 30 session summaries are stored locally. Clear damage statistics and session history in App preferences. Unlocked achievements remain saved. Removing the app removes its local data, subject to the device’s backup and restore behavior.
No tracking or account
The mobile game has no account, ads, analytics, advertising identifiers or automatic usage reporting to Icey. It does not use the website’s statistics service. It requests no camera, microphone, photo-library, contacts or location access.
Speech and sharing
The game uses installed English system voices and optional haptics. It does not request voice downloads. Device speech services follow their own system settings. Screenshots and clips are created locally. They leave the app only when you choose a recipient through the system share sheet. Temporary app-created share files expire from the app cache.
Game updates and hosting
The complete game is included for offline play. When online, the app checks slapgpt.icey.se for updates to this same game and downloads a verified package in the background. A new package is used for the next fresh room; the current room and local achievements/statistics are kept. Native app features still update through the app store. No player identifier, gameplay history or analytics event is sent with an update request. Our hosting provider handles ordinary connection information such as IP address, request time, requested file and response status for delivery and server security. Its normal server logs are separate from game statistics.
Hosting is provided by Oderland. Its published guidance describes daily access-log rotation and separate security-log retention. We do not use update requests to identify players or build profiles. See Oderland’s hosting privacy guidance.
Optional two-player rooms
Opening multiplayer uses a temporary room key. The lobby shares your chosen gamertag, robot, room and occupancy with other players. Gamertags are display labels, not verified identities. Hosts approve or decline joining players. Pending requests expire within two minutes. Two devices exchange game inputs and room state through an encrypted peer connection when possible, with a PHP relay as a fallback. Direct connections can reveal network addresses to the other device; connection setup may contact Cloudflare’s STUN service. The relay temporarily stores room keys, connection descriptions and the latest game state. Inactive rooms expire after 45 seconds and are removed at the next lobby request. No account, microphone or chat is used. Battle logs stay local unless you copy and share them yourself.
Backups and websites
Android app cloud backup is disabled. Apple device backups may include local preferences under your device’s settings. Opening a website or sending a capture to another app brings that service’s own privacy practices into effect.
